About our Referral Program
At WalkerHughes Insurance, there is no higher compliment than a referral. A referral tells us we've met the mark—that our customers are satisfied with the service provided and trust us enough to recommend us to those closest to them. We know how important friends and family members are, and we promise to treat them like our own.
To show our appreciation, we’ve created a referral program with heart. For every referral that completes a no-obligation insurance review, WalkerHughes will donate $10 to our Charity of the Quarter. This program supports causes that matter to our team and helps organizations making a difference in our communities.
Why A Kid Again?
A Kid Again was nominated by, Stephanie Marsh, Director of Engagement based out of our Carmel, IN office. Stephanie nominated A Kid Again because she was deeply moved by the organization’s mission and the warmth of its leadership team. The nonprofit creates joyful experiences for families navigating the challenges of childhood illness—offering moments of normalcy and connection when life can feel anything but. Their work embodies compassion, community, and hope, values that strongly align with those of WalkerHughes. Stephanie felt an immediate connection to the way A Kid Again not only serves children but also supports and uplifts entire families through shared experiences that remind them they’re not alone.
About A Kid Again
A Kid Again is a nonprofit dedicated to giving children with life-threatening conditions—and their families—a chance to step away from medical stress and rediscover joy. Through carefully planned “adventures,” such as trips to kid-favorite destinations, amusement parks, and special outings, they create uplifting moments that build memories and emotional connection. The impact is profound: 88% of participating families report improved quality of life, while many share feeling more accepted, supported, and less burdened by worry.
